🌿 The Story of Noah (عليه السلام)
Long ago, when disbelief spread across the earth and people turned away from the remembrance of Allah, He chose among them a man of truth — Nuh (Noah عليه السلام). For nine hundred and fifty years, Nuh called his people to the worship of one God, day and night, in secret and in public. Yet they mocked him, covered their ears, and turned away.
Still, he did not give up. His patience was vast like the sea. He would say, “O my people, seek forgiveness of your Lord; indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.” But they ridiculed him more. They built idols from the names of their ancestors and worshiped them instead of Allah.
Then came the divine command: “Build the Ark under Our eyes and Our inspiration.” Nuh built a massive vessel on dry land, while people laughed at him — “Has Nuh lost his mind?” they said. Yet when the appointed time arrived, dark clouds gathered, the heavens opened, and the earth burst with water. Waves rose like mountains.
Allah said, “Load upon it two of every kind, and your family — except those against whom the word has gone forth.” His son, overcome by pride, refused to board. He thought he could climb the mountains to escape the flood. But the waves swallowed him, and Nuh’s heart broke.
When the flood ended, the Ark rested upon Mount Judi. The earth drank its water, and peace returned. Nuh said with tears of gratitude, “My Lord, cause me to land at a blessed landing place, for You are the best of accommodators.”
Through his patience and perseverance, Nuh’s story became a lesson for all who strive in faith — that truth never drowns, even when the world turns against it.
